Shauna Weaver

Shauna Weaver has studied Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip hop and Musical Theatre extensively since the age of four. Since that time, she has taken part in various competitions and performances around the world as well as achieving highest grades in major exams such as R.A.D (Intermediate), Al Gilbert Tap and Jazz, Highland Dancing. She has had the opportunity to dance in various places such Spain, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Myrtle Beach and most recently New York. Previously, she was co-owner, coordinator and performer for Hyperflex Productions in Edmonton, whose performances include the opening and closing of Miss Hawaiian Tropic, the Grey Cup 1999-2006, the Calgary Stampede 2001 and many more. After training in Los Angeles for a short period of time, she decided to continue her love of teaching.  She has now been teaching for over 25 years and throughout that time she has won various awards for her choreography.  As part of extending her knowledge and experience, Shauna spends some of her time as an adjudicator throughout Canada.

More recently, after spending 8 years residing and teaching in Ontario, Shauna has expanded her repertoire by achieving her teaching certifications in Acrobatic Arts (M2), Alixa Flexibility (M3) and TADA Handstand Balancing (Foundations and M1). Her teaching focus as of late has been a well-balanced combination of Acro and Tap but she is always striving to pursue excellence while continuing to stay educated for both herself and her students.
