Our programs combine pilates, barre and strength and endurance training to give you a full body workout every class. You don’t need to be a dancer to take class! We offer drop ins and sessions.

I was a 45 year old, woefully out of shape woman who hated the gym, hated working out and used to enjoy dance classes in my early years. Thanks to Drea Lee’s studio, I am now a 45 year old, nearly in shape woman who actually enjoys working out and feels confident in her body.

I just happened to see an advertisement for the Dance Fitness Classes and thought to myself that since I used to enjoy dancing MAYBE it would be a workout I could try and not quit after the first day. Not only did I not quit, I signed up for the monthly pass and found myself going to at least 5 classes a week. My intent was to just do the “dance” style classes and eventually I was trying yoga and proper fitness classes as well.

I felt welcome and I never felt judged for my body-shape or fitness level (which is one of the main reasons I have always hated workouts, classes, gyms etc.) I was able to keep up but still work with in the limits of my admittedly very poor fitness level.

In just a few months (combined with changes to my diet) I lost 35 pounds. I gained self confidence and found myself looking forward to getting to class for my workout. I started to see muscles developing in my arms and noticed huge changes in my body. I feel strong and it feels good.

If you are already fit and looking for a challenge, this studio is for you. If you are out of shape and scared to try something new, this studio is for you. If you are just looking for a fun way to move your body, this studio is for you.

There are no words to express how amazing Drea’s classes are. I was one of the few who took her very first summer heel classes here in Edmonton. Not just a couple seconds into the warm up and I had a feeling I was going to fall in love with her classes. Sure enough, I did and am still taking them to this day. I’ve searched high and low in Edmonton for classes that would push me just the right amount in order for me to have fun and grow as a dancer and no classes in Edmonton can compare. Not only is Drea an extremely creative and fun choreographer but she challenges each and every one of us in her class and can pin point what each one of us needs to focus on. Her classes are challenging and they leave you looking like you just stepped out of the shower desperately heaving for more oxygen, but you walk out of each class feeling empowered and good about yourself because of how much she pushes each one of us to be better than we were when we walked in. – Steph

Restarting dance when you’ve spent fifteen years away was so intimidating, but Drea made it feel like what I was doing was the most natural thing in the world! So much of dance is a mental game, learning to feel comfortable enough to listen to the music, to learn the new steps, and just enjoy the movement and Drea knows how to tap into that so that even though each class is challenging with choreography, you always walk away knowing more and having learned something about dance. This is one amazing studio. Drea and her team of instructors are amazing!. The workouts are amazing. I have never danced before and found barre accidentally while rehabbing an injury and these work outs are just what my mind and body love. I am hooked . Definitely going to keep coming here, one is never too old to start a new program. All types of classes for all levels.
